Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure an annual service for the particle counter equipment at Mosvold Hospital, ensuring the device is properly maintained, calibrated, and compliant with relevant standards. The service aims to guarantee the equipment's optimal functioning, reliability, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Servicing the particle counter as per the attached specifications and schedule.
• Filling out and submitting the service schedule and signed job cards.
• Providing a written report of the service to the Chief Artisan or Artisan Foreman.
• Reporting any issues or out-of-schedule repairs required, with quotations for repairs if necessary.
• Submitting the invoice along with required documentation such as service reports, signed and stamped schedules, and signed job cards.

The service must be performed in accordance with the schedule, and no work outside the approved scope or without prior approval will be accepted.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Servicing the particle counter equipment as per the detailed scope and specifications provided.
• Provision of proof of calibration not older than 3 months.
• Compliance with CIDB registration as an Electrical Contractor (PE).
• Provision of valid tax clearance and B-BEE certificate.
• Submission of a detailed report of the service, signed and stamped, including signed job cards.
• Immediate reporting of any equipment malfunction before or after service.
• Adherence to the schedule and submission of all required documentation for payment processing.

Skills Requirements

The bidder must demonstrate:

• Qualified personnel with CIDB registration as Electrical Contractors (PE).
• Technical expertise in servicing and calibrating particle counters and similar medical or laboratory equipment.
• Experience in performing scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of sensitive instrumentation.
• Ability to produce detailed technical reports and documentation as per hospital and regulatory standards.
• Capacity to respond promptly to equipment issues and provide quotations for repairs when necessary.
