Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure an annual service to mini sub stations at the GJGM Regional Hospital, ensuring proper maintenance, inspection, and operational standards are met for the mini sub stations.

Scope

The scope includes providing comprehensive annual maintenance and inspection services for the mini sub stations, including visual checks, leak detection, corrosion assessment, transformer and cooling system checks, oil level and condition monitoring, moisture and condensation checks, and related spares and repairs as specified in the service schedule. The service covers all activities necessary to ensure the mini sub stations operate efficiently and safely throughout the contract period.

Technical Requirements

• Perform visual inspections for leaks, corrosion, and damage.
• Check and verify the condition of insulators, switches, circuit breakers, and switchgear.
• Assess transformer cooling systems and oil levels, ensuring they meet operational standards.
• Conduct moisture and condensation checks within the equipment.
• Use specified spares and conduct running repairs as needed.
• Complete the service schedule with detailed documentation of activities and findings.
• Comply with the attached specifications and standards provided by the Department of Health.
• Ensure all activities are performed by qualified personnel, including electrical technicians with ECB registration.

Skills Requirements

• Qualified electrical technicians with relevant ECB registration.
• Experience in electrical maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of mini sub stations.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and procedures.
