Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to secure an annual service contract for the security camera system at Bethesda Hospital's pharmacy. The aim is to ensure the longevity, optimal performance, and maintenance of the CCTV system, including inspection, servicing, and necessary repairs to maintain security standards and system reliability.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Annual servicing of the security camera system installed at Bethesda Hospital pharmacy.
• Inspection of cameras, cables, connections, recording devices, power supplies, lighting, and remote access functionalities.
• Testing and verification of camera performance, image quality, and system alerts.
• Cleaning and maintenance of camera lenses and housings.
• Reporting on system status, faults, and recommended repairs or replacements.
• Provision of technical support and documentation post-service.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the service include:

• Compliance with the attached detailed specifications, including size, color, and materials.
• Registered with the Central Suppliers Data Base (CSD).
• Valid trained certification to work on CCTV cameras.
• Registration with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).
• Valid CIDB EB registration.
• Adherence to the specified quality standards, including compliance with SABS or SANS approvals.
• Provision of detailed reports, signed job cards, and original tax invoices upon completion.
• Use of approved materials and parts, with proper documentation of costs and specifications.

Skills Requirements

The service provider must possess:

• Certified technicians with training and certification in CCTV system maintenance and repair.
• Experience in servicing security camera systems, including troubleshooting, calibration, and system upgrades.
• Knowledge of relevant security standards, data protection laws (e.g., POPIA), and industry best practices.
• Ability to produce comprehensive reports and documentation.
• Compliance with health, safety, and security regulations, including registration with PSIRA.
• Capability to provide technical support remotely and on-site as required.
