Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a panel of qualified service providers to deliver catering services at NHLS BCA Business Unit and Regional Office for a period of 24 months. The aim is to ensure reliable, quality catering support that meets the needs of NHLS over the contract duration.

Scope

The scope encompasses providing catering services including:

• Tea breaks (e.g., muffins, snacks)
• Full breakfast
• Full lunch including dessert
• Cold drinks such as juices and sodas
• Bottled water

The services are to be delivered over a 24-month period, covering multiple contracts and ensuring consistent quality and compliance with specifications.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of certified health and safety certificates (e.g., Health Certificate from local municipality)
• Valid Halaal certification from recognized bodies (e.g., SANHA, NIHT, MJCHT, HASA)
• Proof of public liability insurance
• Valid Letter of Good Standing with COIDA or equivalent
• Relevant experience in delivering catering services, supported by at least 2 reference letters from previous clients within the last 5 years
• ISO 22000 certification in Food Safety Management Systems
• Provision of sample menus with pricing for breakfast, lunch, and desserts
• Compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards as per local regulations

Skills Requirements

• Experience in catering services for similar organizations or contracts
• Ability to provide certified Halaal and health certificates
• Capability to supply menus and samples as required
• Proven track record of delivering quality food services within budget and time constraints
• Knowledge of food safety standards and ISO 22000 compliance
• Effective communication and coordination skills for service delivery and compliance monitoring
