Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to implement the Supersolar School Programme, aimed at promoting solar energy solutions within schools. The successful bidder will deliver the specified goods and services as outlined in the tender documentation, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards.

Scope

The scope includes the provision of solar energy solutions tailored for schools, encompassing the supply, installation, and commissioning of solar systems. The service provider must operate within Gauteng province and adhere to all specified requirements, including security clearance and preferential procurement policies.

Technical Requirements

• Completion of all tender documentation on official forms, fully filled in ink, and signed where required.
• Registration on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Provision of proof of B-BBEE status, including a SANAS-accredited B-BBEE certificate or a consolidated B-BBEE claim form.
• Compliance with security clearance requirements if applicable.
• Submission of a Preference Points Claim Form in terms of the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022.
• Demonstration of ownership and operations within Gauteng, including relevant municipal or provincial documentation.
• Adherence to the responsiveness criteria, including submission of all necessary documentation within specified timelines.
