Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to attend to the repair of a faulty generator at Maluti SAPS, ensuring the generator's proper functioning and reliability.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Inspection, diagnosis, and repair of the faulty generator.
• Replacement of parts, spares, and materials with specifications matching or exceeding original components, preferably with SANS and SABS approval.
• Carrying out routine maintenance tasks such as checking belts, radiators, filters, oil levels, coolant, and other critical components.
• Testing the generator under load conditions and recording operational parameters.
• Providing a detailed bill of quantities and a rate-based billing for specific repair tasks.
• Ensuring safety, cleanliness, and minimal disruption during the repair process.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements encompass:

• Adherence to the specifications outlined in the tender, including procedures for inspection, testing, and repair.
• Use of approved and certified materials and components, with proper documentation.
• Completion of all repair and maintenance activities within the stipulated timeframes.
