Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to secure a 36-month cleaning service contract for the Bethulie Magistrate Office, ensuring consistent, high-quality cleaning over the contract period to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.

Scope

The scope includes providing comprehensive cleaning services at Bethulie Magistrate Office, covering areas such as offices, meeting rooms, hallways, toilets, kitchens, windows (including high-rise), floors, furniture, and other specified areas. The contractor is responsible for supplying all labour, equipment, cleaning materials, and ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards for the duration of 36 months.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of cleaning services as per detailed specifications, including dusting, window cleaning (including high windows), floor maintenance, toilet sanitation, rubbish removal, and cleaning of furniture and interior walls.
• Supply and maintenance of all cleaning equipment and consumables, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
• Adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including risk assessments, PPE provision, and compliance with relevant legislation.
• Participation in site inspections and adherence to specified service times (Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:30).
• Implementation of quality control measures, including regular inspections and reporting.
• Compliance with the Department’s specifications for cleaning standards and service levels.

Skills Requirements

• Experience in providing cleaning services to government or similar institutional environments.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Ability to supply and manage qualified and trained cleaning personnel, including supervisors with relevant experience.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation, including OHS Act and Construction Regulations.
• Competence in maintaining hygiene standards, waste management, and high-rise window cleaning (including use of compliant equipment).
• Capacity to implement quality assurance processes and respond effectively to service requests and emergencies.
