Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for filling up the generator with diesel, including supplying diesel and associated equipment such as a diesel bowser, to ensure the generator operates effectively. • Supplying a specified quantity of diesel (e.g., 1500 liters) for the generator.
• Providing a diesel bowser with fire extinguisher and filter, filled with diesel, and left on site for verification.
• Executing unplanned maintenance activities related to the generator's fuel filling.
• Adhering to safety, quality, and legislative standards during service delivery.
• Completing all related documentation, including bills of quantities, pricing schedules, and compliance forms.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Supply of diesel in the specified quantity (e.g., 1500 liters).
• Provision of a diesel bowser with a capacity of 1000 liters, equipped with fire extinguishers and filters, filled with diesel, and left on site.
• Compliance with safety standards, including the use of qualified personnel for electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work.
• Adherence to the scope of work, specifications, and standards set out in the tender documentation.
• Provision of proof of purchase, certification, and compliance documentation.
• Completion of all required forms, declarations, and certifications as specified in the tender.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required for bidders include:

• Experience in fuel supply, generator maintenance, and related services over the past 5 to 10 years.
• Qualified personnel for electrical work (electricians), mechanical work (artisans/tradesmen), and plumbing (artisans/tradesmen).
• Proven track record of executing similar projects with adherence to safety, quality, and legislative standards.
• Ability to provide comprehensive documentation, including project references, safety certificates, and BBBEE certificates.
• Capacity to supply and manage diesel and equipment on-site, including handling of safety and environmental standards.
• Competence in completing contractual, legislative, and administrative requirements, including compliance with procurement and safety regulations.
