Objectives

The primary objective is to perform routine maintenance and battery replacement on four HS6040ds X-ray machines located at the reception area, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and regulatory compliance. The successful bidder will provide a three-month workmanship guarantee for all executed services and spare parts.

Scope of Work

• Service four (4) HS6040ds X-ray machines.
• Replace twelve-volt seven-point-five ampere-hour batteries.
• Restore all units to a fully operational condition.
• Payment is strictly limited to verified materials actually utilized, requiring attached proof of purchase and surrender of redundant components on-site.
• All work must comply with SABS and Public Works standards. Unauthorized additional work is prohibited without prior written instruction.
• Full subcontracting of the entire scope is not permitted.

Technical Requirements

• Electrical interventions must be performed by a qualified Installation Electrician.
• Mechanical repairs require certified Artisan or Tradesman credentials.
• Submission of a comprehensive health and safety plan within twenty-one days of commencement.
• Personnel may be subject to mandatory security clearance procedures.
• The contractor must secure adequate insurance coverage, maintain strict confidentiality of departmental information, and comply with all applicable national and provincial legislation.
• Materials and workmanship must meet manufacturer specifications and industry best practices, with testing available upon request.

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Demonstrated experience on comparable projects completed within the preceding five to ten years, supported by verifiable references and documented performance records regarding time management, financial stability, and quality control.
• Submission of an organizational chart, curriculum vitae, certified identification documents, and proof of professional registration for key personnel.
• Financial viability assessment reviewing liquidity, banking relationships, and absence of detrimental legal proceedings.
• Active registration with the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Board resolutions authorizing bid submission and valid Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) documentation appropriate to the enterprise size and revenue threshold.
