Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Biopsy Needles with Co-axial for Grey’s Hospital, ensuring the supply of high-quality medical devices that meet specified standards and specifications to support medical interventions.

Scope

The scope includes the supply of 120 units of Biopsy Needles with Co-axial in various sizes (14G, 16G, 18G, 20G, each 15cm in length), conforming to the detailed specifications provided. The procurement is a once-off contract, with delivery to Grey’s Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, within the stipulated delivery period. The process involves submission of quotations, compliance with technical and administrative requirements, and adherence to evaluation criteria.

Technical Requirements

• Product Description: Biopsy Needle with Co-axial, sizes 14G, 16G, 18G, 20G, each 15cm long.
• Compliance with attached specifications and quality standards as per Annexure A.
• Samples must be provided upon request for evaluation.
• Products must meet the relevant standards and be approved by the end-user (H Nehal).
• Items should be supplied in units of 30 per size, with long shelf life.
• Pricing must be firm, inclusive of VAT if applicable, and valid for 90 days.
