Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply and delivery of materials at the Bloemfontein Regional Office Workshop. The successful bidder will provide specified building materials, including bricks, sand, cement, brickforce, and related services, to support workshop operations.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Supply and delivery of specified building materials (e.g., bricks, sand, cement, brickforce).
• Provision of delivery services to the workshop located at 18 President Brand Street, Bloemfontein.
• Adherence to technical specifications and standards outlined in the tender documentation.
• Completion within the stipulated timeframe, with a bid closing date of 10 June 2026 at 11:00.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Supply of bricks similar or equivalent to Montana Travertine, with a quantity of 500 units.
• Supply of 1 cubic meter of plaster sand.
• Supply of 8 bags of cement.
• Supply of 2 rolls of 150mm x 2.8mm brickforce (20m length).
• Delivery of all materials to the specified workshop location.
• Compliance with specifications and standards detailed in the Terms of Reference/Specifications document.
• Provision of a pricing schedule inclusive of VAT and any applicable mark-up.

Skills Requirements

The skills and competencies required from bidders include:

• Proven experience in supplying building materials and logistics management.
• Ability to meet technical specifications and quality standards.
• Capacity to deliver materials within the specified timeframe.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and compliance with government tender processes.
• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and compliance with tax and B-BBEE requirements.
