Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit quotations for building repairs at the Greytown Medico Legal Mortuary, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and procurement policies. The process aims to select competent contractors capable of delivering quality work within specified timeframes and adhering to legal and policy frameworks.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Providing skilled personnel to perform building repairs as per the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Supplying and delivering all necessary materials and tools required for the repairs.
• Completing the project within four weeks after order issuance.
• Ensuring safety, environmental, and statutory compliance during execution.
• Appointing relevant professionals for inspections and certifications.
• Managing waste removal and site cleanup post-completion.

The scope also encompasses adherence to technical specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations as detailed in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• CIDB contractor grading of 1GB or above.
• Provision of competent workmen with appropriate skills and qualifications.
• Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993) and other relevant standards.
• Submission of a detailed project management plan and organogram demonstrating roles and responsibilities.
• Provision of a valid First Aid Training Certificate for key personnel.
• Preparation and submission of a Health and Safety Plan.
• Guarantee of worksmanship for a minimum period of twelve months from handover.
• Compliance with environmental regulations regarding waste disposal.
• Participation in a compulsory site meeting scheduled for 16 September 2025 at 12h00.
• Submission of all required documentation, including company registration, CIDB registration, and preference claim forms.
