Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure catering services for Sbmyc meetings, including providing various food items and beverages on specified dates to support the municipality's event requirements.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of catering services for multiple scheduled meetings, covering items such as chicken burgers, lasagne, chicken pasta salad, chicken with chips, assorted pies, and small pizzas, along with soft drinks. The services include food preparation, packaging, and timely delivery to designated locations within the municipality.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of specified food items as per the catering specifications, including quantities and types of meals for each scheduled date.
• Delivery of goods to the designated address: Municipality Stores, Floryn Street, Marias Industrial, Vredenburg.
• All food must meet health and safety standards, including certification of food premises (e.g., Certificate of acceptability for a food premises - R638).
• Pricing must include delivery charges and be valid for at least 90 days from the closing date.
• Suppliers must submit accurate invoices compliant with VAT regulations, including necessary details such as VAT registration number.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in catering and food service provision for large groups or official meetings.
• Ability to prepare and deliver a variety of meals according to specified standards and schedules.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and relevant health regulations.
