Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure catering services for the Western Cape OHS Forum Meeting scheduled for 27 and 28 November 2025. The services include providing food and beverages to attendees, ensuring compliance with dietary requirements such as Halal, and delivering the specified catering items on the designated dates and locations.

Scope

The scope encompasses the provision of catering services for two days at Tierkloof Vredenburg, including:

• Tea breaks with muffins, scones, cream, jam, cheese, sweet packs, and bottled waters
• Takeaway lunch options featuring fish (hake), chips, salad, scones, muffins, bottled waters, soft drinks, and mint sweets
• Delivery and setup of platters and food items at specified times and locations
• Ensuring all food is Halal and accommodating any Halaal dietary requirements as informed by the host

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the catering services include:

• Provision of 30 x Scones with toppings, 30 x Muffins with toppings, and 28 x 500ml bottled waters for each day
• Provision of seafood platters with crab sticks, fish (hake), chips, and salad in take-away folders
• Food must be Halal certified
• Delivery at specified times: 10:00 on 27 November (tea break) and 13:00 on both days for lunch
• Food presentation as per the specified layout and timing
• Provision of additional items such as soft drinks and mint sweets as detailed in the pricing schedule
