Objectives

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of 10 cases of Falcon 175 ml Conical Centrifuge tubes.
• Each tube must have a 7,500 RCF rating.
• Tubes should be packaged with screw caps, 8 per bag, and 48 per case.
• Suppliers must comply with administrative and procurement requirements, including submission of proof of previous supply, detailed specifications, and relevant certificates.

Skills and Competency Requirements

Suppliers must demonstrate:

• Previous experience in supplying laboratory centrifuge tubes or similar products within the past 24 months, supported by stamped/signed invoices, delivery notes, or reference letters.
• Compliance with procurement procedures, including registration on the procurement portal and submission of all required documentation.
• Ability to meet technical specifications and quality standards as specified.
• Provision of proof of BBBEE status and relevant certificates to qualify for preference points.
• Understanding of the administrative and contractual obligations related to government procurement, including adherence to the General Conditions of Contract July 2010.
