Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to hire one (X1) cherry picker for Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) at Ngqura Container Terminal for a period of 12 months. Scope

  • Manufacture and model details to be provided.
  • SWL = not less than 230kg.
  • Height (reach) = not less than 26m.
• The OEM certificate must be current and show the year of manufacture.
• Current running hours of the cherry picker must be below 8,000 hours.
• Maintenance records for the past 12 months must be provided.
• The supplier must confirm adherence to response times, with a written commitment of a 2-hour response time.
• All equipment must pass load tests and meet safety standards specified by Transnet.
