The primary objective of this tender is to invite qualified service providers to supply and deliver cleaning materials to the Rand West City Local Municipality. The initiative also aims to support socio-economic development, education, sports, arts, culture, recreation, and other corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, with a focus on empowering previously disadvantaged groups, differently abled persons, and marginalized communities.
The scope of the tender encompasses the supply and delivery of various cleaning materials, including but not limited to dishwashing liquid, bleach, insecticide, ammonia cream, furniture polish, window cleaner, deodorizer, lint rags, and air fresheners. The quantities and specific items are detailed in the pricing schedule, with a total procurement value subject to VAT and CSR levies. The municipality reserves the right to appoint more than one service provider and may evaluate bids based on local content and other criteria.
