The primary objective is to appoint a reliable supplier to deliver industrial-grade clear packaging tape that meets precise dimensional and performance standards for automated carton-sealing operations. Scope

The tender covers the supply of fifteen (15) units of Eurocel Clear packaging tape, measuring 48mm in width and 1000m in length, or a functionally equivalent alternative. The appointed supplier will operate under the Government Procurement General Conditions of Contract (July 2010) and must submit quotations through the designated procurement portal. All bids require mandatory technical and compliance documentation; failure to provide these results in immediate disqualification.

Technical Requirements

• Product Specification: Transparent, industrial-grade packaging tape designed for machine-length application on automated carton-taping equipment.
• Dimensions: Exactly 48mm width × 1000m length per roll.
• Brand/Equivalent: Eurocel brand or a technically equivalent product meeting identical performance criteria.
• Documentation: Each quotation must include original manufacturer technical datasheets, Certificates of Analysis (COA), product brochures, complete specification sheets, and a clear product photograph.
• Quality Assurance: Products must satisfy internal validation standards reviewed and approved by packaging, quality control, and quality assurance management personnel.

Skills Requirements

This tender does not mandate specialised technical or trade skills. Instead, it requires suppliers to demonstrate strong administrative and compliance capabilities, including proficiency in navigating government procurement systems, accurately completing Standard Bidding Document (SBD) declarations, and maintaining valid Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) verification records.
