Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is the design and construction of an Effluent Treatment Plant at Transnet Engineering's Bethlehem Locomotive Depot. The project aims to establish a functional and compliant effluent treatment facility to support environmental management and operational needs.

Scope

The scope encompasses the complete design and construction of the Effluent Treatment Plant at the specified location. It includes site assessment, engineering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the treatment plant as per the provided specifications and standards.

Technical Requirements

• Adherence to the specifications outlined in the tender document.
• Compliance with NEC contractual framework, emphasizing critical areas such as qualification, mandatory, and returnable documents.
• Loading of all technical evaluation criteria documents under the specified tabs on the Transnet Procurement Digital System (TDPS).
• Mandatory submission of signed certificates of attendance, CIDB grading of 2CE or higher, and other essential documents.
• Technical evaluation minimum pass mark of 70%.
• Consideration of specific B-BBEE goals, including levels 1 or 2, black youth ownership, black women ownership, and entities owned by persons with disabilities.
• Proper documentation and timely uploads to avoid scoring penalties or disqualification.

Skills Requirements
