Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to design, print, supply, and deliver clinical charts for both adult and paediatric patients at the Ilembe District Office. The goal is to ensure the provision of high-quality, specification-compliant clinical recording materials to support patient documentation and healthcare delivery.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Designing the clinical charts according to specified standards.
• Printing the required quantities of adult (15,500 units) and paediatric (2,500 units) charts.
• Supply and delivery of the completed clinical charts to the Ilembe District Office.
• Adherence to detailed specifications regarding size, material, and printing quality.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the clinical charts are as follows:

• Adult clinical charts: 40 pages of text plus a 4-page cover, litho printed in black on 80gsm bond paper, folded, collated, saddle stitched, and trimmed to size.
• Cover: litho printed in full colour, one side only, on 170 gsm matt paper, creased and trimmed.
• Paediatric clinical charts: similar specifications as adult charts, with 40 pages of text plus a 4-page cover, printed on the same materials.
• All charts must meet the quality standards specified and be compliant with the attached detailed specifications and approved by the designated end-user.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Proficiency in graphic design and layout to meet the specified format and quality standards.
• Experience in litho printing, particularly on large volumes and specific materials (170 gsm cover, 80 gsm text paper).
• Capability to produce colour-printed covers and high-quality black-and-white internal pages.
• Efficient logistics and delivery skills to ensure timely supply to the designated location.
• Ability to provide samples for approval prior to full production, if requested.
