Quotations are requested from service providers registered on the Central Supplier Database for the supply and installation of Disaster Management Centre Communication System. The Service provider must have all of the following Frequency Spectrum License/ Radio Station License/ Radio Dealer Certificate, be registered and authorized by ICASA (Independent Communications Authority of South Africa) to buy, exchange or offer sale, hire out, or repair radio apparatus in terms of Section 22 of the Radio Frequency Spectrum Regulations currently in force under Section 4 (1) of the Electronic Communications Act, 2005 (Act No.36 of 2005).
The primary objective of this tender is to procure a comprehensive Disaster Management Centre Communication System that enhances incident management, coordination, and response capabilities across multiple locations and vehicles within the Amajuba District Municipality. The system aims to provide a unified, real-time command and control platform accessible via web and mobile, ensuring efficient disaster incident management from inception to resolution, even in connectivity-challenged environments.
