Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the desludging of an overflowing septic tank at Tsomo Home Affairs, located at ERF 38B Main Street. The aim is to effectively remove and dispose of septic waste to ensure proper sanitation and compliance with environmental standards.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Desludging and removal of septic waste from the specified septic tank at Tsomo Home Affairs.
• Transport and disposal of the waste at an approved municipal dumping site.
• Provision of all necessary equipment, personnel, and safety measures for the desludging operation.
• Completion of the service within the stipulated time frame, ensuring minimal disruption.

The work covers facilities in both urban and rural areas, with access via tarred and gravel roads. The service must be performed in the presence of departmental officials, with proper documentation such as signed job cards and receipts.

Technical Requirements

• Use of Honey sucker trucks or equivalent equipment suitable for septic tank desludging.
• Provision of PPE for staff to minimize risks during operations.
• Submission of proof of disposal at the municipal dumping site.
• Adherence to safety and environmental standards during the operation.
• Completion of work within 24 hours of appointment and finalization within 3 days.
• Submission of signed invoices, job cards, and relevant documentation for payment processing.

Skills Requirements

• Qualified operators experienced in septic tank desludging and waste disposal.
• Personnel trained in safety procedures and use of PPE.
• Staff capable of handling and operating Honey sucker trucks or equivalent equipment.
• Personnel familiar with environmental regulations and municipal disposal procedures.
• Administrative staff for documentation, invoicing, and compliance reporting.
