Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure an automated DS2 ELISA system, including service and calibration, to ensure accurate and reliable performance of the system for laboratory testing. The supplier must provide system parts, validation labels, and certification to support system validation and calibration processes.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses:

• Provision of one (1) unit of the DS2 automated ELISA system, including service and calibration.
• Supply of system parts, validation labels, and certificates.
• Technical support and calibration services for the system.
• Compliance with government procurement conditions and accreditation standards.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications and requirements include:

• The system must be an automated ELISA system (DS2 model).
• System parts must be supplied as per the specifications provided by the supplier.
• Validation labels and certificates must be provided to confirm system calibration and validation.
• The system must be capable of calibration and service as per manufacturer and regulatory standards.
• Proof of SANAS accreditation for calibration and service providers must be submitted.

Skills and Certification Requirements

Suppliers must demonstrate:

• Proof of SANAS accreditation for calibration and service activities.
• Previous experience in supplying and servicing ELISA systems, with proof of supply within the last 24 months (e.g., invoices, delivery notes, reference letters).
• Compliance with BBBEE requirements, including valid BBBEE certificates indicating black ownership, gender ownership, and disability status where applicable.
• Completion and submission of the SBD4 Bidder’s Disclosure form, signed and signed declaration of compliance.
