Tender Description: SCOPE OF WORK PHASE 1 â?? ELECTRICAL NETWORK REVIEW & REVERSE ENGINEERING The bidder shall undertake a complete electrical infrastructure survey. Activities shall include: Site Investigation â?¢ Physical inspection of all electrical installations. â?¢ Identification of all transformers. â?¢ Identification of all substations. â?¢ Identification of all mini-substations. â?¢ Identification of all main distribution boards. â?¢ Identification of all motor control centres. â?¢ Identification of all generator connection points. â?¢ Identification of all busbars. â?¢ Identification of all major switchgear. â?¢ Identification of all large electrical loads. Reverse Engineering The bidder shall: â?¢ Trace electrical feeders. â?¢ Identify feeder origins and destinations. â?¢ Verify cable routes. â?¢ Determine distribution hierarchy. â?¢ Verify protection coordination. â?¢ Verify generator interfaces. â?¢ Verify changeover arrangements. â?¢ Verify synchronisation systems where applicable. Network Mapping Develop: â?¢ Electrical asset register. â?¢ Distribution network hierarchy. â?¢ Cable schedules. â?¢ Panel schedules. â?¢ Load schedules. The primary objective of this tender is to commission a comprehensive review of the electrical network infrastructure and produce reverse engineering drawings. The aim is to develop accurate as-built electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams, layout drawings, and metering architecture diagrams, based on a complete survey and network mapping of the existing electrical infrastructure.
