Objectives

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of electrical tow tractor maintenance, repair, and servicing at Victoria Mxenge Hospital.
• Conducting preventive maintenance schedules (e.g., biannual servicing).
• Performing repairs, upgrades, and replacements of parts as required.
• Attending site inspections, safety briefings, and site meetings.
• Providing technical reports, service documentation, and after-service reports.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards specified in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Adherence to the specifications outlined in the end-user and technical documentation, including safety, electrical, mechanical, and operational standards.
• Provision of qualified personnel, including certified electricians with extensive experience in electrical battery-operated vehicles.
• Completion of scheduled preventive maintenance (6-monthly intervals).
• Availability of detailed service reports, fault logs, and repair documentation.
• Compliance with safety regulations, including site safety plans, risk assessments, and use of PPE.
• Provision of spare parts, consumables, and materials as per the detailed BOQ and specification forms.
• Submission of all required documentation, including CVs, company registration, and pro forma invoices.
• Participation in site meetings, safety inductions, and work planning as specified.
