Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider to perform the emptying of the septic tank at Lukholweni Police Station, ensuring proper disposal and maintenance of sanitation facilities.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Dislodging and emptying of the septic tank at Lukholweni Police Station.
• Provision of all necessary equipment, transport, and personnel to carry out the task.
• Adherence to technical specifications and safety standards as specified in the tender documentation.
• Completion of the work within the stipulated timeframe and in accordance with the technical and contractual requirements.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of a rate per litre for dislodging the septic tank, inclusive of transport, materials, equipment overheads, profit, and VAT.
• Use of appropriate and compliant equipment such as septic tank dislodging trucks or honey suckers with proof of ownership or lease agreements.
• Compliance with safety standards, including provision of PPE for staff.
• Proper disposal of waste in accordance with environmental regulations.
• Completion of work within 24 hours of appointment and full completion within 3 days.
• Submission of signed job cards, invoices, and relevant documentation upon completion.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from the service provider include:

• Ownership or leasehold proof of septic dislodging equipment (e.g., honey suckers or drop side trucks).
• Experience in septic tank dislodging and waste disposal services.
• Compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to provide qualified personnel trained in handling septic waste and operating relevant equipment.
• Provision of relevant PPE for staff involved in the operation.
• Demonstrated capacity to complete the work within the specified timeframes.
