Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver Examination Answer Books to the KZN College of Nursing, as specified by the Department of Health. The aim is to procure quality examination answer books that meet the specified standards and specifications to support assessment activities at the institution.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Supply and delivery of 10,000 Examination Answer Books.
• Provision of answer books conforming to detailed specifications, including size, format, and quality standards.
• Delivery to the specified address: Old Boys Model School, 310 Jabu Ndlovu Street, Pietermaritzburg.
• Adherence to the technical and quality standards outlined in the specifications document.
• Compliance with procurement policies, including preference points and mandatory requirements.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the Examination Answer Books are as follows:

• The answer books must have 7 blocks for student numbers.
• Include 8 double-sided pages with feint and margin lines.
• Front and back covers with printed details.
• Format as an A3 page folded into an A4 booklet, stapled, totaling 10 pages including covers.
• Sample viewing must be available on or before the closing date at specified location.

Skills and Capacity Requirements

Suppliers must demonstrate:

• Ability to produce high-quality printed booklets according to detailed specifications.
• Capacity to handle bulk printing and timely delivery of 10,000 units.
• Experience in manufacturing and supplying examination materials or similar printed products.
• Compliance with quality standards and specifications as per the provided sample and technical criteria.
• Ability to provide samples for viewing and approval prior to full production.
