Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to invite quotations for various projects and training programs related to occupational health and safety, handling of chlorine, hygiene and cleaning, ethics in a municipal environment, operational training, software supply, office upgrades, and other municipal services. The aim is to procure services, training, and supplies that support the municipal functions and infrastructure development of Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Occupational health and safety training (NQF Level 4)
• Handling of chlorine training (NQF Level 2)
• Hygiene and cleaning training (NQF Level 1)
• Training on ethics in a municipal environment (NQF Level 6)
• Aerial chainsaw operator training (NQF Level 3)
• Supply and delivery of software licenses and upgrades
• Office refurbishment and upgrades at various municipal buildings
• Provision of portable toilets for events
• Housekeeping training
• Design and supervision of boxing gym construction
• Electrical works at Cambridge Cemetery
• Traffic marking paint supply
• Building maintenance and artisan tools supply
• Development of cemetery parks in Bisho
• Supply of office furniture for the Office of the City Manager

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements vary per project but generally include:
