The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver K9 handling, training, and welfare equipment for the Law Enforcement Canine Unit within Stellenbosch Municipality. The equipment must be fit-for-purpose for medium-sized detection dogs, suitable for operational deployment and training environments, and meet specified technical standards to enhance the operational capabilities of the unit.
The scope includes the provision of a comprehensive range of K9 equipment, such as feeding and hydration tools, handling and control gear, harnesses, choke chains, training and enrichment tools, reward and grooming equipment, narcotics training items, and related support items. All equipment must be suitable for both operational use and training, compliant with minimum specifications, and capable of supporting detection, control, and welfare functions of the canine unit.
The supply covers the entire procurement process from the supply of equipment to delivery, support, and warranty services, with an emphasis on quality, durability, and compliance with technical specifications.
