Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Heavy Duty File Dividers that meet specified standards and requirements for use at Ladysmith Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health. Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of Heavy Duty File Dividers, including related accessories such as occupational health & safety charts, plastic sleeves, and file drawers, as specified in the detailed technical specifications. The procurement is for a once-off contract with a validity period of 90 days from the date of advertisement, with delivery to the specified hospital address in Ladysmith.

Technical Requirements

• Heavy duty plastic file dividers, with specifications including size, durability, and compliance with SABS standards.
• File dividers must be suitable for filing patient information and other hospital records.
• Items must conform to the detailed specifications provided, including size, colour, material, and quality standards.
• Additional items such as occupational health & safety charts (A1 size), plastic sleeves, and PVC file drawers are also required.
• All products must meet the relevant quality standards, specifically SABS.
• Items must be delivered in packaging that ensures protection during transit and storage.

Skills Requirements

• Bidder must demonstrate compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
• Proven ability to supply quality office and filing equipment within the stipulated timeframe.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures, including submission of official forms and adherence to the Department of Health’s procurement policies.
• Capacity to provide necessary documentation such as tax clearance, CSD registration, and proof of B-BBEE status if applicable.
• Ability to deliver goods to the specified location promptly and handle any technical queries related to the products.
