Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to carry out high pressure cleaning of private ablution walls at Leentjiesklip Caravan Park in Langebaan. The focus is on removing moss growth from the southern sides of the buildings and soot from fireplaces, ensuring the site is left clean and neat after cleaning. The scope includes cleaning six small buildings, with additional buildings to be identified during the site meeting.

Scope

The scope involves:

• High pressure cleaning of the walls of the main buildings and ablution blocks, including private ablutions.
• Cleaning of moss on the southern sides and soot from fireplaces.
• Cleaning areas to be determined at the compulsory site meeting.
• Ensuring the site is left clean and tidy post-cleaning.
• Inspection of the main ablution block during site clarification to assess cleaning requirements.
• Supply of all equipment, hoses, fittings, power leads, and labor by the contractor.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Use of pressure washers and cleaning equipment suitable for moss and soot removal.
• Adherence to the specifications discussed at the site meeting.
• Cleaning to be performed on the exterior walls of buildings, with particular attention to moss and soot.
• Site to be left clean and free of debris after completion.
• Attendance at the compulsory clarification meeting scheduled for 08 May 2026 at 10h00 in Langebaan.

Skills Requirements

The contractor must demonstrate:

• Experience in high pressure cleaning of building exteriors, especially moss and soot removal.
• Ability to supply and operate appropriate pressure cleaning equipment.
• Capability to work efficiently on outdoor surfaces with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of environmental and safety standards related to pressure cleaning.
• Provision of labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the cleaning to the required standard.
