Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Insulated Ward Service Carts for Ladysmith Regional Hospital under the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health. The aim is to acquire equipment that ensures safe, efficient, and reliable transport and hot holding of meals within the hospital setting, complying with specified standards and specifications.

• Provision of one (1) Insulated Ward Service Cart as detailed in the specifications.
• Delivery of the cart to Ladysmith Regional Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Technical capability to manufacture or supply insulated service carts meeting the detailed specifications.
• Experience in providing hospital or medical equipment of similar nature and standards.
• Ability to ensure quality assurance and compliance with relevant standards (SABS/SANS).
• Capacity to deliver within the specified contract period and provide after-sales support if required.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and compliance with departmental policies, including preference points and declaration of interests.
