Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Insulin Syringes of 0.5ml capacity with 31G gauge for use at St Marys Marianhill Hospital, ensuring quality, compliance with specifications, and adherence to procurement policies.

Scope

The scope includes the supply of a specified quantity of insulin syringes (40,000 units), meeting detailed technical specifications such as size, gauge, bonded needle, graduation markings, manufacturing and expiry dates, and quality standards. The procurement covers the entire process from quotation submission, technical compliance, sample provision, to delivery at the designated hospital address.

Technical Requirements

• Insulin syringe with a capacity of 0.5ml, marked as 50 units.
• Needle size: 31G bonded to the syringe, length 8mm.
• Graduated at 1-unit intervals on the barrel, with volume verification data.
• Must have clear manufacture and expiry dates.
• Complies with specified quality standards (High quality).
• Samples must be provided with the quotation, no later than the closing date.
• Packaging units: per unit basis.
