Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure an Integrated Allied Services Consultation Room Register for Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital. The aim is to establish a standardized data collection tool that supports allied, rehabilitation, eye-care, and oral health services within the hospital.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply of the consultation room register, including:

• Production of 300-page registers with specified dimensions (300mm x 300mm)
• Hard, durable cardboard covers with full-color gloss printing on outside covers
• Inside pages printed in black and white, with pages numbered and designed for spread view layout
• Binding with reinforced, flexible, two-sided tape and heavy-duty staples
• Provision of soft copy of cover and demographic writings
• Samples of previous versions available for viewing upon request

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Cover material: Hard, thick, durable cardboard with gloss full-color printing
• Page content: 300 pages, printed on both sides in black and white, with front cover in color
• Layout: Spread view across two pages, with bleed artwork all around
• Size: 300mm x 300mm
• Binding: Reinforced with heavy-duty staples and glued binding tape, flexible for daily use
• Numbering: Pages numbered sequentially
• Additional: Final draft signed off by Provincial Data Management before bulk printing

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Capability to produce high-quality, durable hospital registers adhering to detailed specifications
• Experience in printing and binding large-format, multi-page documents with specific layout requirements
• Ability to provide samples for approval prior to bulk production
• Compliance with technical standards for print quality, materials, and binding techniques
