Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider capable of designing and printing A4 Z-fold brochures and A5 full colour information booklets for the Moses Kotane Research Institute (MKRI). The selected provider will also be responsible for designing the materials in accordance with MKRI's corporate identity manual and delivering the printed products to specified locations within the stipulated timeframe.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Designing and printing 1500 units of A4 Z-fold brochures, incorporating full colour printing on both sides on 200gsm gloss paper.
• Designing and printing 1500 units of A5 full colour booklets, including a 4-page full colour cover and 10 inside pages, saddle stitched, on 200gsm gloss paper.
• Designing the materials in line with MKRI's corporate identity guidelines.
• Delivering the printed materials to MKRI offices located at 190 KE Masinga Road, Durban, within 3 days of receiving the purchase order.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the printing and design include:

• Design to be compliant with MKRI's CI Manual.
• Printing full colour on both sides for brochures and booklets.
• Use of 200gsm gloss paper for all printed materials.
• Designing the materials with professional layout and artwork as per the provided guidelines.
• Delivery of the final printed products to the specified MKRI address within 3 days of order receipt.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate the following skills and capabilities:

• Proficiency in graphic design and layout, with experience in designing corporate and institutional publications.
• Expertise in high-quality printing processes, particularly full colour printing on gloss paper.
• Ability to interpret and implement branding guidelines as per MKRI's CI Manual.
• Efficient logistics and delivery capabilities to meet tight turnaround times.
• Experience in working with government or research institutions is preferred.
