Objectives

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply of 10 units of sterile sling frontalis suspension sets, conforming to the detailed specifications provided, including size, material, and quality standards. The procurement is a once-off purchase with a validity period of 90 days from the date of advertisement. The items are intended for use in the hospital’s ophthalmology theatre, and the supplier must deliver to Grey’s Hospital, Pietermaritzburg, within the agreed delivery period.

Technical Requirements

Skills Requirements

• Bidder must have the capacity to supply and deliver the specified medical devices within the stipulated timeframe.
• Bidder should provide proof of manufacturing or distribution authorization, such as a valid license from SAHPRA for medical devices.
• Bidder must be able to submit samples for evaluation if requested.
• Bidder should have experience in supplying medical surgical equipment, preferably to healthcare facilities.
• Compliance with procurement policies, including preference points for BBBEE status, is required.
