Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure various vaccine labels and related items for animal vaccines, including vaccines for Brucella S19, Blue Tongue, African Horse Sickness, and Lumpy Skin Disease. The aim is to ensure the supply of high-quality, compliant labels that meet specified technical and regulatory standards, with proper documentation and certification to support quality assurance and traceability.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply of:

• Labels for multiple vaccines (Brucella S19, Blue Tongue Types A, B, C, African Horse Sickness Types 1 & 2, and Type C, Lumpy Skin Disease)
• Specifications include various label sizes, colors, and printing requirements
• Labels must include batch details, supplier information, storage temperature, and other regulatory markings
• Suppliers must provide certificates of conformance and in-house test results
• Additional items include vaccine labels on company letterhead, artwork approval, and packaging requirements

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the labels include:

• Label dimensions: typically 24 x 65 mm (± 0.1 mm)
• Color specifications: Pantone solid chips (e.g., Pantone 5405 C, 583 C, 2765 C, etc.)
• Material: Labels must be suitable for freeze-dried vaccine bottles, with specific die-cut shapes and roll orientations
• Printing: ABG Cutt + Varnish process, with specified color and print quality
• Storage temperature display: 2°C to 8°C
• Labels must include batch number, supplier name, address, and other regulatory markings
• Labels must be shrink-wrapped, with specified spacing (3mm) and backing paper dimensions (1.5mm top and bottom)
• Certificates of Conformance must be signed, on company letterhead, and include test results and batch details

Skills and Skills Requirements

The supplier must demonstrate:

• Experience in manufacturing vaccine labels, with proof of previous supply within the last 24 months (stamped/signed invoices, delivery notes, reference letters)
• Capability to produce labels according to detailed technical specifications and artwork approvals
• Quality assurance processes, including in-house testing and certification of labels
• Compliance with regulatory standards for animal vaccine labeling
• Ability to provide certificates of conformance and detailed documentation
• Technical expertise in printing, die-cutting, and packaging of vaccine labels
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards for animal vaccine labeling in Namibia and South Africa
