Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a Major Service Infra Red system for Addington Hospital, ensuring the equipment is serviced annually with specific technical standards, including calibration and performance requirements. The aim is to maintain the operational integrity of infrared thermal imaging systems through qualified service providers.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Annual servicing of the Infra Red equipment, specifically the DB thermal imaging system.
• Ensuring the infrared imaging system has a resolution sufficient for clear imagery, with a detector minimum of 120 x 120 pixels.
• Verification of equipment calibration (certificate less than 12 months old).
• Provision of full service reports, signed job cards, and invoices upon completion.
• Engagement only with companies holding valid CIDB EB Grade 1, B-BBEE certificates, and relevant experience working with Infra Red systems.
• Site visits and coordination with the maintenance manager prior to commencement.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the Infra Red system include:

• Thermal imaging camera with a minimum detector resolution of 120 x 120 pixels.
• Calibration certificate issued within the last 12 months.
• Valid CIDB EB Grade 1 certification.
• Experience in working with Infra Red equipment, supported by at least three previous proof of work.
• Full report submission post-service, including signed job cards and invoices.

Skills Requirements

The service provider must possess:

• Certified expertise in infrared thermal imaging systems.
• Experience working with Infra Red equipment, demonstrated through previous projects and references.
• Qualified technicians with CIDB EB Grade 1 accreditation.
• Ability to produce calibration certificates and relevant technical documentation.
• Knowledge of health facility equipment servicing standards and safety protocols.
