Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a comprehensive major service for a Tow Tractor Machine at Mbongolwane Hospital. The service aims to ensure the electrical and mechanical functionality of the equipment, provide a detailed report on the service performed, and maintain the operational integrity of the tow tractor.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Servicing the existing Tow Tractor, covering all electrical and mechanical components.
• Providing a full written report on the service conducted, submitted to the maintenance chief artisan.
• Performing specific activities such as electrical servicing, mechanical servicing, shock and wheel bolt checks, battery replacement, lighting checks, charging equipment servicing, cleaning, body frame inspection, controller servicing, and turning radius checks.

Payment will only be processed upon submission and approval of the service report.

Technical Requirements

• Proof of registration with CIDB ME Grade 2 or above.
• Valid tax clearance certificate.
• Proof of qualified artisan trade test.
• Letter of good standing.
• Completion certificates (minimum of 3 copies).
• Service activities must include electrical and mechanical servicing, battery change, and checks on shocks, wheel bolts, lights, controller, and turning radius.
• Detailed written report on the service must be submitted before final payment.

Skills Requirements

• Qualified artisans with trade test certification in relevant mechanical and electrical fields.
• Experience in servicing industrial or hospital equipment, specifically tow tractors or similar machinery.
• Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults accurately.
• Competence in providing detailed technical reports on maintenance activities.
