Objectives

Scope

The scope includes providing a one-time major service to laundry ventilation fans at Madadeni Hospital's maintenance department. The service encompasses inspection, cleaning, repairs, and any necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation of the ventilation fans. The requirement specifies two units of laundry ventilation fans to be serviced.

Technical Requirements

• Perform a thorough inspection of all safety devices, including lid locks and emergency stop buttons, ensuring proper operation.
• Remove covers and clean accessible areas; check for wear, corrosion, or damage.
• Inspect electrical connections, tighten lugs, and verify insulation integrity.
• Check motor mounting, drive systems, belts, pulleys, and replace worn belts as needed.
• Inspect control panels and indicators; test functionality and secure wiring.
• Clean exhaust and ventilation paths to ensure unobstructed airflow.
• Inspect rubber mounts, supports, and vibration isolators; replace if worn.
• Check hoses, clamps, inlet/outlet connections for leaks or blockages.
• Clean lint filters and screens; remove lint buildup from internal components.
• Inspect mechanical components such as shafts, bearings, and bushings; lubricate or replace as necessary.
• Conduct a functional test run to verify normal operation and listen for unusual noises.
• Complete maintenance records with details of parts replaced and follow-up actions.
