Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit quotations for the supply and delivery of 4 Post Service Kits to the Makhado Local Municipality. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a formal written contract and provide the specified post service kits that meet the technical specifications outlined in the tender.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses:

• Supply and delivery of 4 Post Service Kits, including a detailed specification for a Post Service Lift with specific capacity and technical features.
• Adherence to procurement policies and regulations, including the Municipal Supply Chain Management Regulations, 2005, and the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2017.
• Provision of all necessary documentation, including company registration, tax compliance, and B-BBEE status, to qualify for evaluation and preference points.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

Suppliers must demonstrate:

• Legal registration and compliance, including traditional authority clearance for the entity and directors within three months.
• Tax compliance, including registration with SARS as e-Filers and submission of TCS certificates or CSD numbers.
• Relevant experience and capability to supply and deliver the specified post service kits.
• Provision of necessary documentation such as B-BBEE verification certificates or sworn affidavits.
• Declaration of interest and disclosure of any relationships with persons in service of the state, to prevent conflicts of interest.
• Adherence to supply chain management regulations and anti-collusion declarations, including independent bid determination.
