Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to engage an accredited training provider to deliver Municipal Finance Management training to Makhado Local Municipality. The training aims to enhance the financial management skills of municipal staff and ensure compliance with relevant accreditation standards.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of municipal finance management training interventions as specified in the qualification and unit standards listed.
• Training to be conducted either internally (in-house) or through a training provider, depending on the need.
• Training delivery must be aligned with the accreditation against specified qualification/NQF levels.
• Preparation and submission of all necessary training materials, facilitation, and certification.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Accreditation from relevant ETQA / SETA and/or QCTO for the specified qualifications and unit standards.
• Training must cover the following units:
• Municipal Finance Skills (NQF Level 5, Program ID: 119331)
• Municipal Finance Management Training (NQF Level 5, Program ID: 119334)
• Management Skills (NQF Level 5, Program ID: 119341)
• Minimum Competency Requirements (NQF Level 5, Program ID: 119348)
• Training duration and content must meet the specified unit standards and qualification requirements.
• Quotation must include costs for travel, accommodation, materials, facilitation, and certification.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must possess:

• Valid accreditation from relevant ETQA / SETA and/or QCTO for the specified qualifications and unit standards.
• Experience in delivering municipal finance management training.
• Ability to provide qualified trainers with relevant expertise and experience in municipal finance.
• Capacity to develop and deliver training materials aligned with the specified standards.
• Proven track record of conducting similar training interventions within the municipal or public sector.
