The Mandela Bay Development Agency (MBDA) seeks quotations from experienced professional public art organisations, artist collectives, or individual artists/teams to design, produce and install a series of large-scale murals along Strand Street. The programme aims to activate the public realm, celebrate local culture and stories, improve pedestrian experience and support cultural tourism objectives in Nelson Mandela Bay.
MBDA requires a delivery partner with proven experience delivering murals at this scale (multi-panel or continuous linear murals), with the capacity to manage all technical, logistical, safety, permitting and community- engagement aspects.

A COMPULSORY SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, 19 NOVEMBER 2025 at 10:00 MBDA (TRAMWAYS) PARKING UNDER THE HIGHWAY.
