Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to obtain quotations from qualified and experienced service providers for the repairs and maintenance of a generator located at the Tramways Building. The repairs aim to address specific defects such as coolant leaks, auto-start failures, and general maintenance to ensure the generator's reliable operation.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Identification and replacement of corroded coolant pipes and flushing/refilling the cooling system.
• Diagnosis and repair of faults preventing manual and auto-start functions, including inspection of starter systems, control panels, relays, and batteries.
• Performing comprehensive system checks post-repair, including oil, coolant, and fuel line inspections.
• Test running the generator under load and providing a detailed service report upon completion.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that service providers must:

• Identify and repair coolant leaks, ensuring the cooling system is flushed and refilled with appropriate coolant.
• Diagnose and fix auto-start and manual start faults, inspecting relevant components such as starter systems, control panels, relays, and batteries.
