Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Montanide Gel 01 PR with a net weight of 30 kg (product code 36067D, sterile grade) to meet the needs of Onderstepoort Biological Products Ltd. The procurement aims to select a qualified supplier through a competitive process, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, legal, and procurement requirements, while promoting fair and transparent awarding based on price and preference criteria.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of 3 units (each 30 kg) of Montanide Gel 01 PR (product code 36067D, sterile grade).
• Suppliers must meet specified technical, legal, and administrative requirements as outlined in the tender documentation.
• Adherence to government procurement policies and conditions of contract.
• Submission of all compulsory documentation, including CSD reports, COA, catalogue, and certificates.
• Evaluation based on price, preference points, and compliance with socio-economic goals.

Technical Requirements

Suppliers must fulfill the following technical requirements:

• Provide specifications, catalogue, and Certificate of Analysis (COA) for the Montanide Gel 01 PR.
• Ensure the product is sterile and meets the grade requirements specified.
• Net weight per unit: 30 kg.
• Photo evidence of the product must be submitted with the quotation.

Additional technical and administrative requirements include:

• Submission of a current CSD report with tax compliance status not older than two months from the RFQ date.
• Compliance with government procurement conditions and the General Conditions of Contract July 2010.
• Use of the procurement portal for bid submission, with credentials provided by OBP.
