Technical Requirements

• Products must be brand new, unused, and represent the most recent or current models available on the market.
• All respirators must comply with applicable South African National Standards (SANS) and meet the specific fluid-resistance and filtration performance criteria outlined in the tender specifications.
• Delivered stock must retain a minimum shelf life of six months upon arrival; expired or second-hand goods are strictly prohibited.
• Suppliers must provide a warranty against defects in design, materials, or workmanship for twelve months after delivery and acceptance, or eighteen months from the date of shipment, whichever concludes earlier.
• A performance security must be furnished within thirty days of contract award notification.
• The procuring entity reserves the right to request physical samples for independent verification against set specifications before final acceptance.
• All quoted prices must be firm, inclusive of Value Added Tax (where applicable), and fully cover transportation and delivery costs to the designated location.
