Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the purchasing and delivery of diesel fuel for the Kimberley Regional Office's backup generator, ensuring reliable power supply for the regional office's operations.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of diesel (specifically 50 ppm grade) to the Kimberley Regional Office, with a specified quantity of 1600 liters. The contract covers the provision of diesel that meets specified standards, delivered to the designated location within the stipulated timeframe, and in accordance with the technical and administrative requirements outlined in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of diesel fuel conforming to the specified grade (50 ppm).
• Delivery to the Kimberley Regional Office at the address specified in the tender documents.
• Provision of documentation confirming compliance with specifications, including product origin and quality standards.
• Adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards during transportation and delivery.
• Timely delivery within the agreed period, with the delivery basis specified as firm or non-firm in the pricing schedule.

Skills and Capacity Requirements

• Proven experience in the supply and delivery of diesel fuel to government or similar institutional clients.
• Registration on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Compliance with all legal, safety, and environmental regulations related to fuel supply and transportation.
• Ability to provide valid BBBEE certificates or sworn affidavits demonstrating empowerment status, including ownership by black people, black women, black youth, and persons with disabilities, where applicable.
• Capacity to deliver the specified quantity within the stipulated timeframe and to the required standards.
• Financial stability and appropriate logistical capabilities to manage the supply chain effectively.
