Objectives

To procure and deliver high-quality brush cutting nylon trimmerline to support routine maintenance operations across municipal facilities, cemeteries, and sportsfields within the Umdoni Municipality.

Scope

The contract encompasses the supply and delivery of 59 packs of 3.5mm brushcutter nylon trimmerline. Each pack must contain 10 bundles, with each bundle comprising 100 loose strands. Delivery is required at Umzinto Town Hall. Quotations must remain valid for 30 days. The municipality reserves the right to accept partial bids and is not obligated to accept the lowest quotation. All deliveries and contract execution will be governed by standard municipal procurement regulations.

• Packaging & Quantity: Strict adherence to the 100-strand-per-bundle and 10-bundles-per-pack structure, totaling 59 packs.
• Submission Format: Bids must utilize official municipal bidding forms, accompanied by a detailed quotation on company letterhead, fully completed, signed, and stamped.
• Compliance Documentation: Mandatory submission of tax compliance status (SARS PIN or Central Suppliers Database number), B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, company registration certificate, ID copy, VAT registration (if applicable), reference list, and proof of address.
• Delivery Protocol: Hand delivery to the designated municipal tender box is required. Courier submissions will not be accepted, and late bids will be automatically rejected.
