Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a service provider for a one-time collection and disposal of LED light tubes at the Natalia building, ensuring safe and environmentally compliant waste management. The service aims to responsibly remove hazardous waste, provide necessary disposal certificates, and adhere to safety and environmental standards.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Collection and disposal of LED tubes (light waste) from the Natalia building.
• Provision of appropriate storage containers or boxes to prevent breakage during storage and transport.
• Use of accredited hazardous waste disposal methods and facilities.
• Submission of a disposal certificate confirming environmentally compliant disposal at an approved landfill site.
• Adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations during collection, transportation, and disposal processes.

Technical Requirements

• The service provider must be accredited for hazardous waste collection and disposal.
• Provision of suitable containers for storing the LED tubes to prevent breakage.
• Transport vehicles must be appropriate and compliant for hazardous waste collection.
• Disposal must be carried out at an approved landfill site, without crushing the tubes.
• Submission of a valid disposal certificate post-collection confirming safe disposal.
• Compliance with all safety and environmental standards, including adherence to the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Skills Requirements

The service provider must demonstrate:
