Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to outsource radiology reporting services through secure digital platforms for a period of six months at RK Khan Hospital. The service aims to facilitate remote, efficient, and secure reporting of imaging studies, including CT scans, by accredited external radiology providers.

Scope

The scope encompasses the provision of radiology reporting services for various imaging modalities, notably CT scans, over a six-month contract period. It includes outsourcing the reporting process to accredited external providers who will deliver remote reporting via secure digital platforms. The scope also covers compliance with technical, legal, and institutional requirements, including confidentiality, security, and quality standards.

Technical Requirements

• Reporting services must be delivered through secure digital platforms ensuring data confidentiality and integrity.
• Reports must be generated by accredited radiology providers with SANAS certification and appropriate accreditation.
• Providers must have a valid BBBEE certificate and Sworn Affidavit or Certificate with SANAS logo.
• Reporting must be timely, accurate, and conform to SANBS/SABS specifications.
• Service providers must provide remote reporting capabilities, ensuring accessibility and security.
• All reporting must adhere to the specified contract period of six months.
• Compliance with legal and institutional policies, including data protection and confidentiality, is mandatory.

Skills Requirements

• Qualified radiologists or radiology reporting professionals with SANAS accreditation.
• Experience in remote digital reporting and handling of imaging studies, particularly CT scans.
• Knowledge of secure digital platforms and data security protocols.
• Understanding of relevant medical and legal standards, including SANBS/SABS specifications.
• Ability to work independently and deliver reports within stipulated timeframes.
• Compliance with BBBEE and other procurement policy requirements.
